Developing a Corporate digital ecosystem
Brief and goals
Prysmian Group, Public Company leader in cables for energy and telecommunications, has chosen Softec to redesign its own digital identity and to redevelop tools and digital services in line with the Digital Transformation process taken by the company, the global best case in the Industry 4.0.
The Business Requirements of the project included the enhancement in terms of Customer Experience of the Product Finder and other digital tools, apps and eServices with customized solutions.
Methodology and Design Process
Starting from an activity of Analysis and Definition of business and communication objectives, the Design Thinking process included a Co-Design workshop which involved the Top Management, Product Manager and Marketer, IT and HR Manager of the company coming from 5 continents in two days of brainstorming and card sorting to bring out needs, complexity and solutions.
Softec has identified the real needs of the target (Client, Stakeholder, Shareholder and Talent) orienting them towards business and branding objectives, planning a personalized and relevant experience.
Rationalization and redesign of the digital ecosystem: Information Architecture, taxonomy reclassification and product web surfing by targets.
A new asset of strategic communication to describe milestones and projects, getting to know the key people and focus the stakeholder’s attention on themes as innovation, ethics and sustainability: animated infographics, interviews, virtual tours, 3D videos.

SEO oriented optimization of the information architecture, new CMS (Drupal 7) and responsive design website accessible from any device, browser and operating system.
Development of new product finder to improve the Customer Experience with more than 1700 indexed products for the business area: Power Grids, Oli&Gas, Telecoms, Construction & Infrastructure and Industries.
