Brief and goals

How to make a person’s journey unique, relaxed and entertaining?
Softec has supported Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna in the digital transformation process, taking advantage of innovation technology in order to improve everyone’s travelling experience.
Passengers’ journey paths are guided by Pepper, the first humanoid robot in service at an Italian Airport.
Thanks to the integration with ioT Orchestra Robotics BMS proprietary platform, Pepper is able to adapt to different profiles: departing and arriving passengers, escorts or airport personnel.

Pepper’s integrated AI & IoT enables to understand people’s emotions and establish a unique dialogue with everyone around. This is strategic to open infinite possibilities of interactions.

Pepper helps you find any service within the airport: check-ins, restaurants, bars, newsagent’s, tobacco shops and duty free, taxi service, etc.
