The New Digical Bank
Brief and goals
The “going to the bank” experience won’t be the same anymore. The Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), leading bank in the UAE, has created uBank, the first completely digital banking branch in the whole Middle East.
Foster the transition from traditional banking channels to an omnichannel experience: that’s the goal of this innovative project, that takes advantage of technologies such as biometric authentication, digital signature and video assistance through a virtual employee (Virtual Relationship Officer), all within a physical space.
In uBank, ADCB customers will be able to open a bank account, request the debit or credit card in real-time, as well as the chequebook, or request the instant substitution in case of loss.
During the year, two other centres are scheduled to open in exclusive locations in the United Arab Emirates, at Al Wadha Mall in Abu Dhabi and City Walk in Dubai.
