Softec and Telecom Italia have integrated their respective offers and platforms and share an advanced and flexible platform that takes full advantage of fixed and mobile broadband. As well as its leadership position in Italy for the introduction of mobile devices to the corporate network, Softec makes a vast product portfolio for the “Workspace” and “Mobile Services” available to the Telecom sales network, comprising solutions and services that optimise all smartphone functions.

For a number of years now Softec has been a member of the "BlackBerry Alliance®", a selection of companies, at international level, that are authorised to develop business solutions for next generation smartphones.

BlackBerry® is the device produced by Canadian company Research in Motion® (RIM®), world leader in the market of PDAs, which enables users to be "always on, always connected".

Taking advantage of the extraordinary potential of the device, Softec designs, produces and promotes innovative wireless solutions for the global communications market, and has become the ideal partner for medium and large-size enterprises that wish to manage their business quickly and easily even when away from the office.

Samsung Electronics Italia and Softec have recently signed an important partnership for the development and promotion of ideal solutions for the management of company staff that are often on the move. More specifically, the agreement involves the implementation and certification of Softec applications for smartphones and tablets – Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab – supported by the Android operating system.

The Softec Mobile&Wireless solutions chosen by Samsung for its devices represent an effective response to the growing need to expand corporate workspaces and emphasise the company’s specialisation and consolidated experience in the development of multidevice applications for Global Mobility.

With its long-standing focus on research and development, once again this year Softec has renewed its now historic partnership with Milan Polytechnic, sponsoring the “Internet of Things Observatory”, a recent initiative promoted by the School of Management to identify the main areas of application, pinpoint the most interesting cases implemented in Italy and forge a comparison with the international scenario, understand the social implications of the Internet of Things and lay the basis for the launch of pilot projects.
